October is such a magical time to get married, and Travis & Jody’s wedding was no exception! They even had their sweet dog Coee as their ring bearer, and she was so well behaved!

I have known Travis for many years and he has always been an avid outdoorsman. Hiking, kayaking, caving, rafting and exploring. While in grad school, Travis adopted his sweet dog, and named her Coee. In Tennessee there is a river called the Ocoee, which was made famous from the 1996 Summer Olympic Whitewater Rafting competition.

Travis’s job as a traveling Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), afforded him the luxury of traveling all of the United States. He spent time in Tennessee, Montana, Wyoming and several places in between. All while taking sweet Coee on his outdoor adventures!

Jody has always had a LOVE of the outdoors! The clean air, brisk early morning hikes and the freedom to view God’s creation from a few hundred or thousand feet in the air, at the edge of a rock cliff, or top of a mountain, always brought her joy.

When Travis & Jody first met & started dating, people soon realized there was no better match than these two!

The stone steps at Percy Warner Park, was the perfect setting for these two outdoor adventurers to say “I do!”

I just LOVE first looks!

Just look at the way he looks at her!!

Ahhhh! That sweet moment between Jody and her dad! Be still my heart!!

Coee the ring bearer. So cute!

SO MUCH LOVE in this picture!!

First kiss as husband and wife!

I cried so many times at Travis & Jody’s wedding? Let’s see…first look, vows, song, kiss….you name it, I had tears! The venue fit them PERFECTLY! A beautiful park, declaring their love, to God and all their family, under the leaves, in the crisp morning October air! Did it rain overnight & four hours before their nuptials? Yep! Was it muddy? Yep! Were there slick rocks and wet leaves? You bet! Did Travis & Jody bat an eye? Not at all!! Afterward, they held their reception at Thistle Farms Cafe. If you are unfamiliar with Thistle Farms, they help empower, heal, and employ women of sexual abuse, and trafficking.

I’m loving their sweet, personal touches of both his and her parents on their wedding days.

Look at their wedding bands! They are engraved with trees!!

Their sweet niece’s birthday was the same day as their wedding, so birthday cake, unicorn headbands and presents were a MUST!

Check out their cake!! It was in the shape of logs, with meringue mushrooms and fondant leaves!

Look how they cut the cake!

See inside?  Jody’s favorite colors of fall!

After a perfect day, the happy couple headed off to the mountains in Asheville, NC for a quick getaway (they are taking a big honeymoon trip to Scandinavia in the summer). Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Camp!
