Ally & Forrest are such a precious couple, and after capturing their baby announcement, I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their maternity session.

Thankfully, the weather in December was unseasonably warm, and we had clear skies with just a slight breeze.

Ally & Forrest showed up, looking spectacular- (as always! How can I look as good as they do?)  Ally wearing a long cranberry dress, and Forrest in slacks and a coordinating sport coat.

We headed out into a beautiful open field where the light was creamy, and Ally was just glowing!!

 

After some time spent in the wide open field, we decided to head down to the lake and capture a few sunset images.

You can’t tell we stomped through mushy sand and mud to get there.
