Christina wanted a warm spring session with a flowing creek, flowers, and lots of fun—and she got exactly that! Currently a senior at Wilson Central High School, Christina is involved in an array of activities. From JROTC and Friends of Rachel, to bowling, HOSA, and even the MJ Police Explorers, she stays busy. More importantly, she’s driven, with her eyes set on a future in nursing. In fact, with her early admission to Austin Peay’s nursing program already secured, it was the perfect time to celebrate this exciting season in her life with a photo session as fun and carefree as she is. Keep reading to check out Christina’s Ellington & Centennial Park Senior Photos.

Ellington Agricultural Center

We started at one of my favorite locations in Nashville—Ellington Agricultural Center. Tucked away in the south side of Nashville, Ellington Ag Center has multiple spots for stunning senior portraits. From the white barn, and white fence row, to the large trees and flowing creek. Whenever anyone suggests Ellington Ag Center, my answer will ALWAYS be a resounding YES! The golden sunlight coming through the trees always creates the perfect backdrop for portraits, and I just love it! Christina stepped into the shallow, creek completely unfazed by the slippery rocks (I was SWEATING and repeating over and over in my head- “please don’t fall!”) Even with all the rain we had, the water was very calm.

After leaving the creek, Christina changed into a cute teal green tank and denim shorts, and she HAD to showcase her FAVORITE shoes- classic Converse high-tops. We made our way over to the arched brick walkway—a charming spot surrounded by soft greenery and classic architecture. I loved the way the light shone through the archways.

Centennial Park

After a quick outfit change, we made our way to Centennial Park- again, another favorite of mine- where the tulips were in bloom and were a great pop of color against Christina’s white romper. She had so much fun among the tulips (and mom even sang “Tiptoe Through the Tulips”, as she was walking along the stone). She even brought along a few personal touches—her JROTC cords, medals, and regalia—to showcase her involvement and achievements during her high school years.

Christina’s tattoo is a sweet tribute to her Grandfather.

The Parthenon

We made our way across the grass to the giant, gritty columns of Nashville’s Centennial Park. A favorite spot for photos, you get a sense of just how small you are, compared to the massive stone blocks, impressive tall ceiling, and heavy iron doors. As the sun was setting, we were able to capture several fun shots, right before the last peek of light.

Her nursing journey is already off to an amazing start, and without a doubt, I believe Christina will be one of those people who changes lives for the better—whether it’s in the hospital, the community, or wherever life takes her. Additionally, her passion for helping others, combined with her academic drive and leadership experience, truly sets her apart in the best possible way.

Christina, thank you for trusting me to capture your senior year. I loved having you on my team! You are truly one of a kind, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish.
