Molly is one of my seniors on my Experience Team. When I showed Molly a few phone pics of the farm, she knew right away that’s what she wanted- a big open field, creek, a pond, flowers, and LOTS of golden sunshine! After Molly finished with hair and makeup, we all headed south to Franklin, TN. South 40 Farm is quickly becoming one of my favorite locations. It has everything in one place! The creek, open fields, a barn, flowers (depending on the time of year and what is in bloom, old cars (if that’s your thing), a pond with a dock, and a long tree swing. Plus, it’s 40 ACRES! You have plenty of room to spread out & never have to worry about someone being in your shot. Keep scrolling to see more of Molly’s Franklin, TN Senior Farm Photos.
We started at the creek. Due to a drier late summer & fall, the water levels were low; however, that meant we had lots of flat rocks to stand on. Molly wore the cutest eyelet dress, and you’d never guess these were taken in October. The warm light and weather felt like early summer.

If you’re looking for senior field photos, South 40 Farms is perfect. The tall grasses, which were changing from green to brown, picked up the glow of the afternoon sun. Open field photos are always a favorite for my seniors. Thankfully, Middle Tennessee is full of them!

The glow of the background light against her auburn hair was flawless!

There’s a large patch of tall yellow rattle flowers on the property. They are an IDEAL spot for that soft, glowy, golden afternoon light! Molly chose the BEST outfit here. Her navy top, against her red hair, coupled with the glowing yellow flowers, was impeccable!

This image feels like late July, and not at all like mid-October.

Another favorite location on the farm is the small white building with sliding doors, metal framing, and large windows. When the light hits just right, it creates clean, bright portraits. Molly changed into a long, flowered navy dress, which was so lovely for this spot!

From there, we stopped by the cosmos patch. The purple blooms added a simple but beautiful setting for a few quick photos. And you can see the setting sun peeking in the background. We were so thankful they were still in bloom as we had a few cold nights earlier in the month.

From the Cosmos patch, we drove over to the tree swing. This is such a fun location, and at the right time of day, the setting sun casts the most amazing orange glow! The sun’s glow illuminated Molly’s red hair. So stunning!

We walked over to the pond and snapped a few images on the dock as the sun set behind us. Just look at the glow on the trees! The fountain in the pond added extra detail and depth to her photos.

We ended Molly’s senior session at the wrought-iron gate. And while the rose bush was not in bloom, the greenery of the rose bushes added depth and variation to her images.

Molly’s long red hair, her flowered, flowy dress, the iron gate, and greenery are giving the English countryside, and I’m here for it!

Molly, I am so glad you are on my team this year! I hope you had as much fun as I did!
