Sophie’s senior photos were full of adventure! We spent the day exploring some of the most recognized and unique locations throughout Middle Tennessee, creating a senior portrait experience that was full of flowers, sunshine, beautiful scenery, and plenty of fun along the way. From the notable locations in Nashville to a peaceful Franklin farm and the wildflowers of Lebanon, Sophie’s session included so many gorgeous backdrops which helped to show off her personality perfectly.
Sophie graduated in May 2026 and is beginning an exciting new chapter at Paul Mitchell, where she is studying to become a cosmetologist. After graduating from high school, Sophie and her family also made incredible memories together on a Disney cruise to Europe! What an amazing way to celebrate such an exciting milestone before starting the next chapter of her life! Keep reading to check out Sophie’s 12 South, Nashville, Franklin, and Wildflower senior photo session.
We started Sophie’s senior photo session in one of my favorite areas for senior photos in Nashville: 12 South! Our first stop was LoveShackFancy and their beautiful pink flower mural. The soft pink colors and floral backdrop were such a fun way to begin and gave us something completely different from the natural locations we would visit later in the day. 12 South is always a fun option for Nashville senior photos because there are so many colorful and unique backgrounds within a small area. Sophie’s photos at the pink floral mural were the perfect combination of colorful and fun!

From 12 South, we made our way to downtown Nashville for a walk on the Pedestrian Bridge. We hung out on top (and under) the bridge. It was windy (however, Sophie was such a trooper!) with the Nashville skyline in the background before heading over to Cumberland Park. At Cumberland Park, Sophie changed into her cap & gown, and we captured some fun and sassy grad photos. The bridge and Cumberland Park gave Sophie’s senior photos that classic Nashville look, all while incorporating architecture and beautiful light.

Next, we headed to Franklin for one of my favorite parts of Sophie’s senior photo experience. After spending time in the city, it was time to trade in Nashville’s buildings and bridges for open fields, flowers, water, and peaceful country scenery.
We photographed in and around the creek, explored the open fields, and found beautiful and fragrant honeysuckles along the way. During her time at the farm, she brought along a framed photo of her Grandparents. I loved that she wanted to incorporate her loved ones, and I know they would be so very proud of her! And check out her tattoo. What a sweet way to honor her Grandmother! During her cap & gown images, we also made sure to capture some of Mom & Dad. I love it when parents jump in for pictures with their senior.
One of my favorite spots from the day was the tree swing surrounded by flowers. The glowy light, her white dress, and the flowers surrounding her helped create the PERFECT images! We finished this portion of the session near the pond, with the fountain in the background.

Of course, we had one more stop before ending Sophie’s senior photo adventure: the wildflowers in Lebanon, Tennessee! The flowers, open space, and colorful scenery were the perfect ending to Sophie’s incredible senior photo session!

Sophie’s session took us from the pink flowers of 12 South to downtown Nashville, Franklin’s countryside, and finally the beautiful wildflowers of Lebanon. Every location brought something different to her senior photos, and together they created a gallery that was uniquely hers.
Congratulations, Sophie, on graduating with the Class of 2026! I cannot wait to see where your journey takes you as you pursue your dream of becoming a cosmetologist (and hopefully work for my team- hint hint!). I hope the memories from your senior year, your incredible European Disney cruise with your family, and this exciting new chapter ahead are ones you will always treasure! Thank you so much for having me capture your senior photos!
