I have known Sara and Connor for several years. They both started working at the same school where I worked, and they both coached basketball. Their love of sports, education, and UT Vols started them talking, but God brought them together.
I was so excited when Sara and Connor got engaged. They were so cute! Sara did not want to be proposed to on a major holiday, like Christmas or Valentine’s Day, but Connor had other plans.
For Christmas, he bought her this great rain jacket and had her NEW initials monogrammed on them. Sara was so excited about seeing her new jacket, that she completely missed her new initials.
When she realized what was going on, Connor had slipped off of the couch, had gotten down on one knee, and was asking her to be his wife. Between the gasps, and tears, Sara said “YES!”
Sara and Connor’s day was just perfect! The weather in July couldn’t have been more amazing! The sky was a beautiful azure shade of blue, with just enough clouds kissing the sky. Sarah looked gorgeous in her illusion halter-neckline dress, with lace and beading overlay. Connor waited patiently at the end of the aisle looking very dapper, in dark pants, a crisp white shirt, and a blush colored tie. Sara’s bridesmaids wore blush colored off the shoulder knee-length gowns.
Congratulations!! I am so happy that I got to share in the joy and new beginnings with Sara & Connor Burger!
