Come along with us for our Senior Experience Team 2026 Meet & Greet in Mt. Juliet, TN — a fun kickoff with biscuits, florals, and new friendships!
At the end of May, I had the absolute joy of hosting my Senior Experience Team Meet & Greet for the Class of 2026—and what a heartwarming afternoon it was! We gathered at the charming Sweet Biscuit Company, a hidden gem nestled in a 1930’s-style home on 2654 N Mt. Juliet Rd, right in the heart of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Sweet Biscuit Company is a beloved local eatery serving up Southern hospitality with every bite. Known for their mouthwatering, fluffy buttermilk biscuits—available in both classic and gluten-free options—this charming eatery has built a loyal following thanks to their unforgettable flavors, cozy atmosphere, and exceptional catering services. Whether you’re stopping in for their pop up, hosting a bridal shower, or planning a business brunch, Sweet Biscuit Company brings the magic with a menu full of homestyle favorites and gourmet twists. Think golden croissants, crispy bacon, savory sausage, loaded hashbrown casserole, and creamy sausage gravy—Andrea and her team make each dish with love and the freshest ingredients. Pair your meal with their signature gourmet flavored butters or treat your guests to crowd-pleasers like chicken salad, pimento cheese sandwiches, veggie and pasta salads, and beautiful fresh fruit displays. Don’t forget to sip on their famous fruit tea or a gourmet flavored coffee for the perfect finishing touch. Offering top-notch catering services for events big and small, Sweet Biscuit Company is the go-to for breakfast spreads, brunch buffets, and southern-inspired grazing tables that impress every time.
My senior team, and their mom’s enjoyed a delicious spread of fluffy buttermilk biscuits, delicious strawberry butter, fresh fruit, orange juice, sweet tea, and ice-cold water. The crew at Sweet Biscuit made our senior team brunch feel so personal and welcoming—like we were gathering in Grandma’s kitchen. Sweet Biscuit provided the perfect setting for laughter, introductions, and lots of excitement about the upcoming senior year.
As the girls and their moms arrived, they were greeted with a beautifully set table featuring fresh, hand-picked florals from Apple & Dove, a local boutique flower shop located off the square in Gallatin, TN. Apple & Dove is known for offering more than just flowers; they cultivate flower experiences. From fresh-cut, farm-grown blooms to seasonal you-pick flower events, their arrangements capture the romance of Tennessee’s countryside and the heart of Southern hospitality. Whether you’re looking for a hand-tied bouquet, wedding florals, or an afternoon spent in a field of flowers, Apple & Dove makes every floral moment feel magical. They also offer floral design classes, wedding floral services, and their unique Flower Academy, where budding florists and flower lovers alike can deepen their craft. Everything they do is rooted in intentionality, creativity, and a passion for bringing beauty into everyday life. For custom florals, community classes, or a day on the farm you’ll never forget, stop by their charming Gallatin storefront. All flowers were farm-grown just down the road in Portland, TN by the passionate owners themselves. Their blooms added a perfect whimsical touch to our Meet & Greet, and I loved featuring Apple & Dove’s florals during their senior event.
Once we got our food and settled in, we went around, introduced ourselves, and the team talked about the high school they attend. One of the highlights of the day was watching connections form between seniors as well as hear what they are most looking forward to during their senior year, their college aspirations, future plans, and just an overall excitement for the year to come. I also loved hearing from the moms about what they were looking forward to during their daughters senior year. Their responses were sweet and so heartfelt. We talked about what the year and events would look like, as well as a few bonuses I’ve added in this year. SO EXCITED!
After our yummy brunch, we made our way outside and snapped a few team and individual images. Back inside, we played BINGO, where Payton was the lucky winner of an ULTA gift card!
