My senior rep team’s first group mini-session was in a beautiful wildflower garden. A wildflower garden offers the perfect backdrop for senior photos by combining their natural beauty with vibrant colors. The vibrant color of the flowers together with the rolling hills, lush grass, and my team of giggly seniors made the session fun & exciting!
We started up the hill, beneath the canopy of a big tree, where the girls sat on a cute tree swing. From there, the girls gathered for their wildflower garden photos, where colorful blooms, buzzing bees, and various native butterflies surrounded them.
The girls’ wore the cutest outfits, showing off shades of pink, white, cream, and shades of blue. Their outfit choices looked stunning against the vibrant purples, yellows, and oranges of the wildflowers. We laughed and chatted extensively about their upcoming school year and how busy their senior year will be! From cheerleading, dances, sports, ROTC, jobs, Homecoming, Prom, and just soaking in everything that happens during senior year; it was a whirlwind of memories and experiences that make this time so special. In addition to the August heat, a special shoutout goes to all the moms who were there, helping with makeup and hair touch-ups.
There’s something magical about capturing senior portraits in a wildflower garden. The vivid colors, the hum of bees, the butterflies fluttering around, and the glow of the golden sunlight, make the experience even more special. Keep scrolling to check out some of my favorite shots from the day!
All of a sudden, the sun had just dipped behind the trees, marking the end of the golden hour, and with it went the soft, warm glow that usually lights up my seniors’ faces. Even though the sunlight had faded, I love how these last few images in the wildflower garden show their bond with laughter and giggles, as summer comes to a close, and they kick off their senior year.
