Noelle is one of my Senior Spokesmodels. She is heavily involved in her school where she is the student body President, she nannies two sweet little boys and is involved in her church youth group. Noelle is such a kind-hearted person whose smile lights up a room! Noelle wanted a creek in Hendersonville, goldenrod fields, and the Gallatin Square for her senior photos. I knew just the places and they were all within minutes of each other.

When Noelle and her mom arrived, she looked super cute! Her bright red outfit would look FABULOUS in the natural setting. She wore red as it was her Nannie’s favorite color on her, and she was wearing a very special necklace from her Nannie. I just love it when my clients incorporate unique, sentimental touches.

We headed out to the creek in Hendersonville, where we dipped our toes in the cold water. The rocks were slick and THANKFULLY no one fell in, although there were several near misses! As we were shooting, a man and his two rambunctious retrievers came splashing through the creek. They were fetching a stick and other toys he was throwing in the water.

As mom was on the bank, Noelle needed to toss her flip flops to her. One made it and one got caught by a gust of wind, where it ended up in the water and was heading downstream. It was too slick for us to try to get it, so Noelle’s mom kicked off her shoes as she made her way off the bank. Unfortunately, the shoe was moving way to fast! Remember those retrievers? They were the heroes of the day! As the flip flop moved quickly downstream, we yelled to the man to get his dogs to fetch Noelle’s shoe. The golden jumped in & happily scooped it up in his mouth! He brought it back to his owner, and the owner handed it off to Noelle’s mom. Whew! And that was within the first five minutes of her session!

After several minutes in one location of the creek, we headed a mile down the road to a more shallow and flat area. The sun was peeking through the dark green leaves and the bridge was in the distance. After some time there, Noelle changed clothes and we made our way to the bridge and into an open field.

The light was AMAZING and made all the Goldenrod glow! Lastly, we made our way to the square where Noelle’s cute doggie Ollie got to be in the shots.
