Nestled among tall trees, large rocks, and the glowing sun, the creek provided a picturesque backdrop for Regan’s creek senior session in Hendersonville, TN.

When I chatted with Regan about her vision for her senior session, she expressed interest in a location with water, color, and openness. I had just the place in mind! It’s tucked away from lots of people and the light is absolutely GORGEOUS in the afternoon!

The Creek

I met Regan at the creek and we had a blast! When we first arrived, we thought we were going to have to work around the guy with the loud and exhaust-filled jeep, but thankfully he drove away. The water was COLD but Regan was a trouper. She even made crossing the creek look effortless! And she didn’t even stumble, slip or fall! (that would be me!)

After we made our way out of the creek, we headed up the bank to the bridge. I love how the dark rust color of the bridge just pops! We also found a nearby field of bright yellow wildflowers. After spending some time in the wildflowers, Regan changed clothes and we walked over to the fence. We knew the sun would be setting soon, so we drove to the Douglas-Clark House.

After we left the creek, we headed over to the Douglas-Clark house. The area was under construction, but I found some spots near the house to snap a few images before the sun was setting.
