Jessica & Shawn had an intimate elopement on their beautiful Tennessee farm, during the late afternoon in mid-October. Simple yet personal is just what they wanted.

It had been raining off and on all day, and I worried that their outdoor celebration might turn into a soggy mess.

When I arrived, there was no rain in sight. Their beautiful farm looked incredible with the fog and mist- varying shades of blue, purple, and gray covered the ground, trees and fields. Maybe a little rain wasn’t so bad after all!

Jessica’s dress was beautiful and simple. Cream with lace, and a little kick with her cowgirl boots!

Her bouquet was made from wooden flowers! They were simply gorgeous and so unique! This is definitely a bouquet that will last a long time!

Shawn looked handsome in his crisp white shirt, gray vest, boots and wooden boutonnière.

Their wedding cake, created by The Cheesecakery was layers of strawberry cake and cream cheese. So yummy!

A few minutes before the ceremony, the rain and clouds decided to show up, but that didn’t matter. The only thing that did matter was Jessica & Shawn declaring their love and promise to spend the rest of their lives together, as husband and wife! Their daughter Maddie, on the other hand, did not like the rain, and opted for an umbrella instead.
