Being a senior is can be hard. There is SO MUCH going on! In addition to classes, there are dances, football and basketball games, college applications, Friday nights with friends, jobs. You name it! You think being a senior can be hard, being the mom of a senior is extremely hard!
Sarah is a senior this year and I work with her mom Mindy. Truthfully I don’t see her mom as just a co-worker, but a sweet, dear friend! I felt this day coming, as Mindy, spoke of Sarah’s last year in high school. The emotion in her voice, the precious memories she shared and just HOW FAST these past seventeen years have flown by! Kindergarten graduation, scraped knees, wiped tears, family trips, Easter egg hunts, basketball games, braces, prom, her drivers license, and everything in between!
Sarah stays busy! She is involved with FFA, is the boys basketball manager, has a part-time job, AND continues to help out on their 250+ acre working farm! Whew! Busy! Busy! Not only that, she is in AP and dual enrollment college classes! Sarah is such a smart cookie!
During her senior year, Sarah’a first time on an airplane was flying to ICELAND!!! No big deal right?
WOW!! I sure couldn’t have done it!
Sarah has such a passion for travel, has visited almost all of the US states and continues to add stamps to her passport!
Sarah is graduating from Watertown High School in the spring, and is headed to The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, as an Engineering major.
Good luck Sarah! I know you will do GREAT things!
